Directed by Sunil Tagore and Aasai Thambi and produced by Kutty Padmini, the serial pivots on the Dharmalingams and their age-old property, `Shanti Nilayam.' Dharmalingam owns this bungalow and the house has seen many generations. Dharmalingam is sentimental about the house, but his daughter-in-law (Pallavi) sees the house as a source of great fortune and plans to sell it. Joining her in the vicious plan are Dharmalingam's first son, Ravi, his twin daughters and Bharath, a magician who is on the look out for his father who went missing during a magic session.
