Seminar at ISKCON
SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM nitya parayana yajna started in 1983 concluded on the Vijayadasami day (Oct. 23, 2004) with reading, recitation and a lecture on the final verses of the 12th canto of the Bhagavatam.
ISKCON at Injambakkam, commenced the reading and lecture series on Srimad Bhagavatam in 1983. Chanting of the verses and upanyasa on Srimad Bhagavatam regularly is being performed relentlessly for 21 years.
H. H. Bhanu Maharaj, a direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada, has been managing the performance of this yajna and has been delivering these lectures from 1985. H. H. Bhanu Maharaj, will be felicitated by ISKCON during the seminar on Nov. 7. yajna.
Sriman Srinivasa Iyengar, renowned speaker on Bhagavatam, Prof. Vasudevan A Sanskrit scholar and an exponent of the Srimad Bhagavatam Sriman, Gitacharya, a renowned speaker on the Bhagavat Dharma, Sriman Sumitra Krishna Dasa, President, ISKCON will participate in the seminar from 10.30 a.m.
