The serial pivots on the life of the protagonist, Girlie, an orphan. Girlie (Priya Raman), marries Nandan, a businessman, in Mumbai.

After their marriage, Nandan (Devan), decides to visit Kerala.But unfortunately, the couple meets with an accident.Girlie, who loses her memory in the accident, marries Jayasurya (Sureshkrishna), a cloth merchant. Everything seems to be perfect initially but Girlie is again destined to face an unpleasant future when she delivers Jayasurya's child.

Directed by K. K. Rajiv, the cast also includes Thilakan, Rajesh Hebbar, Jeni Joseph and Urmila Unni.
