Dearth of funds
KOVANUR, A small village situated three kms from Nachiarkoil in Thanjavur district houses a temple for Lord Varadaraja.
The temple is under the care of H.R & C.E. Board, which is not able to carry out the nithya puja due to dearth of funds. But with an effort taken by R. Srinivasa Iyengar, an inhabitant of the village for more than two decades, puja is being done once a day.
Proper arrangements have to be made for unhindered performance of nithya puja at the temple which awaits renovation and samprokshanam.
The estimated cost for it is Rs.One lakh. Contributions for the same are welcome.
