Book release

AS A homage to many veteran dancers, and dance teachers of India, Ashish Khokar, dancer, dance-historian, editor, photographer and author of over 30 books, is bringing out a publication written by him on Maya Rao, renowned exponent of Kathak and a prime disciple of the doyen Shambhu Maharaj.

Ashish Khokar, is holding the book release function at The Park, on November 27, at 5 p.m. Senior Bharatanatyam exponent and teacher M. K. Saroja will release the publication. Journalist Geeta Doctor will read out excerpts from the book.
