GLOBE TROTTING for shoots is a norm with Prashanth, with the actor constantly flying in and out of the country.
"Prashanth is the luckiest star you can think of. He has had the opportunity to work with big names in direction and has invariably been paired with the most popular of heroines, including Aishwarya Rai," a unit member says. The hero recently returned after a 25-day stint in England for Spice Team International's "London," being directed by Sundar C. Generally it is for duets that foreign locations are chosen. But for this film London is the scene of action for the most part. The shooting was nearly completed in England, and now the crew will be working here on the patchwork that remains. In London the Sun came up only around 7.30 in the mornings and it became dark by 1.30 p.m. Sundar C. canned all the daylight shots in the available time and then went on to shoot the night effect sequences. Sticking to the time schedule and completing shooting amid such constraints is not easy.
But Sundar is a meticulous planner. So he was able to do it, the unit tells you.
Ankita, the young heroine of the Nagarjuna hit "Santhosham," and a busy actor in Telugu, makes her debut in Tamil as Prashanth's pair in "London." The "Winner" combo of Sundar C., Prashanth and Vadivelu come together again in "London," and this time round the group has an interesting addition — Pandiarajan.
All set for "Ayudham"
Going by the happenings on his career front, Prashanth's period of hibernation seems over after "Shock." His "Ayudham" with Sneha is ready for release and should make it to the cinemas by the year-end.
Murugesh, whose first film "Indru Mudhal" hardly created a flutter, is the director of "Ayudham." He has worked hard and "Ayudham" with the right amount of action and romance will project Prashanth in a different dimension, you hear.
