T.N. Krishnan Foundation
MOHAN PARASARAN, Additional Solicitor General of India, will inaugurate the T. N. Krishnan Foundation for Performing Arts, a non-profit organisation, on January 1, 2005, at 8.45 a.m., at Chettinad Vidyashram's Kumara Raja Muthiah Hall, MRC Nagar. M. Krishnaswamy, vice president, Federation of Andhra Pradesh Sabhas, will preside over the function. Violinist, Prof. M. S. Anantharaman, mridangam player T. V. Gopalakrishnan and composer and musicologist V. V. Srivatsa, will offer felicitations. A special New Year concert by the violin trio, T. N. Krishnan, Viji Krishnan-Natarajan and Sriram Krishnan, with Tiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam on the mridangam and Vaikom Gopalakrishnan on the ghatam, will follow, at 10 a.m. (www.tnkrishnan-foundation.org)
