Music contest

THE HAMSADHWANI annual music competition will be held on February 6 at the Youth hostel, Second Avenue, Indira Nagar at 10.30 a.m.

Sub-juniors (7-12 years) can sing any three kritis of popular composers, juniors (12-15 years) any seven kritis and seniors (15-22 years) any 10 kritis (raga singing included). At 2.p.m., compositions of Papanasam Sivan and tarangams of Narayana Tirtha separately for all categories. Registration will be made on the spot, and Rs.10 will be charged as registration fee.
