SOFTWARE PROFESSIONAL turned publisher. That seems like the most unusual marriage. Vasudhendra, a software engineer who is also a writer himself, is now going to don a third role as publisher, with his Chanda Pustaka being launched on January 30, Indian Institute Of World Culture, 10 a.m.

Chanda Pustaka will release three books — Putta Paadada Gurutu (Sunanda Prakash Kadame), Jhumuru Male (Sumangala) and Vaidya, Mattobba (Dr. Guruprasad Kaginele). The books will be released by well-known Kannada writers O.L. Nagabhushana Swamy, Nemichandra and T.R. Anantaramu. All these three books will be available at Rs. 100 on the day of release.
