Tribute to Purandara

Sir, — The Punya Dina of Purandaradasa falls on February 8. The aradhana is conducted at Hampi, Karnataka, which is his birthplace. Early in August 2004, letters of appeal were sent to the secretaries of music sabhas and musicians, as their programmes are fixed six months in advance.
