Film for Valentine's Day
"Thirudiya Idayathai" ... shooting a fight scene.
WHEN ONE entered the shooting spot at hotel Oceanic, a landmark in Santhome, it was Rohan, the hero doing a one-man show bashing up the baddies. Director Murali Krishna with the help of the stunt master `Thalapathi' Dinesh was shooting the fight sequence for Madhuban Productions "Thirudiya Idayathai." Subha is the heroine.
The director said, "Economy is the basic factor one should bear in mind while producing a film. I give the complete chart of all the days of shooting nearly two months in advance. So that from the producer to the last office boy work is specified. This is why all my previous films have met with success. This will also be a hit. I have to finish only two songs and am ready for the release on February 14, Lovers' Day."
Rohan and Subha are lovers. Rohan's friend is Kunal, chosen to marry Subha. Both men, however, are unaware of this development.
Before shooting began, all the stars were made to rehearse the scenes for nearly forty days. Rohan was made to practise dance and fights for nearly a month. Rohan is now doing another film for the same company with the same director titled "Chozha".
"I was born and brought up in Bangalore but it was Tamil films and Tamil audiences who have given me the break. I have worked hard and one can see it in every frame of the film, says Rohan.
Director Murali Krishna says that they are going to shoot two songs, one in the set and another near Vellore in a forest area, which has not been explored by the film people so far. "I am racing against time and want to finish the film and release it on February 14. Kunal for the first time is doing an anti hero role but he is not the villain. All the songs have come out very well," he says.
The cast includes `Nizhalgal' Ravi, Ramji and Fathima Babu . Rajarajan handles camera, art is by A. Antony Peter, Bharani, story, screenplay score music, and dialogue and direction are by Murali Krishna. He has also sung a song in the film. R. Saliayan produces the film.
