Sony bags 121 Grammy nominations

SONY BMG Music Entertainment received a total of 121 Grammy nominations on February 8 from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS).

The 47th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on February 13.

Some of Sony's nominations are: Record Of The Year: "Heaven," Los Lonely Boys; "Yeah!" Usher featuring Lil Jon & Ludacris.

Album Of The Year: "The Diary Of Alicia Keys," Alicia Keys;Confessions," Usher. Song Of The Year: "Daughters" (Heavier Things), John Mayer; "If I Ain't Got You" (The Diary Of Alicia Keys), Alicia Keys.

General Field

Best New Artist: Los Lonely Boys, Maroon 5, Gretchen Wilson; Best Male Pop Vocal Performance: "Let's Misbehave," (De-lovely), Elvis Costello; "Daughters" (Heavier Things), John Mayer; "Cinnamon Girl," (Musicology), Prince.

Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal: "Heaven," (Los Lonely Boys), Los Lonely Boys; "She Will Be Loved" (Songs About Jane), Maroon5; "My Immortal," (Fallen), Evanescence.

Best Pop Instrumental Performance: "Song F," (Halcyon Days), Bruce Hornsby.
