Karunanidhi's biography to be staged

EXCERPTS FROM Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Supremo M. Karunanidhi's autobiography, "Nenjukku Needhi," will be staged as a play, "Paena Oru Porvaal," at the party's conference in Dindigul, on March 12 (tomorrow).

Popular film actor Vagai Chandrasekar will don the role of Karunanidhi and portray three stages of the leader's life — his youth, middle age and as he is today.

The play will also bring back to life Periyar, Annadurai, Bharatidasan, Karunanidhi's mother Anjugam Ammal and his wife Padmavathy Ammal.
