Women's Day at BHEL Township
International Women's Day celebrated at BHEL Township, Coimbatore.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S Day was celebrated at the Recreation Club Auditorium, in the BHEL Township, Ranipet, recently. Manjula Ramesh, Editor, Snehidhi, was the chief guest.
The cultural programme included song, dance, play and poetry reading. It was an all-women show that was well received. Manjula Ramesh stressed on the importance of positive thinking and positive approach.
Girija Sathyanarayanan, patron, Ladies Wing of Recreation Club, Palar Club and Women In Public Sector (WIPS), the Public Sector unit of BHEL said that for the first time all the women's associations in the township had come together to present a show for the occasion and commended the participants in the cultural events.
