TAMIL NEW YEAR SPECIAL

Vijay TV will roll out special programmes on Tamil New Year's day.

Actor Vikram's Mauritius trip with four of his die-hard fans, innovative shows featuring stars Surya, Silambarasan, S. J. Surya and Simran, a special segment on the achievers like M. Karunanidhi, P. Chidambaram, Kalanidhi Maran, Vairamuthu, Narain Karthikeyan and others are some of the must-see programmes.

Other listings in the pipeline include: a showcase of latest hits at 7.30 a.m., special debate by Leoni and team at 8 a.m., a game show of a different kind featuring Silambarasan (10 a.m.), a meet with actor Surya at 11 a.m., curtain raisers of the forthcoming movies at 16.30, and a musical starnite show at 19.00 featuring leading playback singers like Anuradha Sriram, Mano, Mahathi and Unni Menon.
