Love, sentiment, action



"Dass" ... the screenplay will keep viewers guessing till the end.

LAKSHMI MOVIE Makers India Ltd. Is nearly through with ``Dass." Director Babu Yogeswaran is making his debut and is a little anxious although he is optimistic about the success of the film. "The story and screenplay have been made in such a way that it will keep the viewers guessing throughout," he says happily.

The climax was being shot and the director outlined the story. ``The hero is a Christian and the heroine is Hindu. They come to the house of a Muslim seeking refuge. Do they find shelter? I have told the story sprinkling it with love, sentiment and a lot of action," says Yogeswaran.

`Jayam' Ravi is confident that the film will be a hit. "Even as I heard the story I had a feeling that it would be a success. This is my first straight film and also for the first time it is not my company. Success, therefore is very important to me. I have worked very hard and hope it pays," he says with enthusiasm.

Babu Yogeswarn was the script writer for "Annamalai," wrote screenplay dialogue for "Salanam" and was assistant director for "Nee Varuvay Ena."

Renuka Menon, Salim Ghose, Vadivelu, Fefsi Vijayan and Monika are doing the main roles.

Music is scored by Yuvan Shanker Raja, art is by GK, stunts are composed by `Rakki' Rajesh, songs are written by Pa. Vijai, Yugabharathi and Viveka.

Raju Sunderam, Kalyam, Ashok and Sivashanker have choreographed the dance sequences. Camera is cranked by Vijay Chakravarthi. Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction are taken care of by Babu Yogeswaran.

K. Muralidharan, V. Swaminathan and G. Venugopal are the producers.
