They live too

It is not a film that is likely to sex box office records but it still deserves attention when it finally kisses the silver screen this coming Friday. Come May 20 and Ashutosh Rana's long-awaited "Shabnam Mausi" is likely to be released. The film, based on the true story of a eunuch who rose who to be an MLA, endeavours to tackle the issue of the third gender seriously, unlike other Bollywood films where they have been used only to evoke foul jokes. Whether the masses will accept it or not remains to be seen. But one hopes they do for those of the third gender live too.
