Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Jayanti Bahgavata Mela Natya Nataka Sangam (Melattur), headed by S. Natarajan, will celebrate Nrisimha Jayanti from May 22-30. Prahlada Charitam will be enacted on the inaugural day at 9 p.m. in front of the Moolavar shrine of Sri Varadaraja Perumal temple. The festival that includes Dhruva Charitam, Harischandra Natakam and Rukmini Kalyanam apart from dance and music recitals will conclude with Anjaneya Utsavam.
