Dancer Rajeswari Sainath.

Well-known Bharatanatyam dancer Rajeswari Sainath, of Sruthi Laya Kendra, performed in Australia recently as part of the Thyagaraja Festival 2005, held in commemoration of Thyagaraja's contribution to music on the occasion of his 158th anniversary.

Rajeswari performed Trimurthy Sangamam — a unique dance recital — as part of the festival on May 22, at Kel Watson Theatre, Melbourne. A percussion ensemble by Guru Kaaraikudi Mani and a vocal concert by O.S. Thyagarajan also featured in the festival.
