Sanchaya, the Kannada journal, has put together an issue on the late Kannada poet Ramachandra Sharma

Sanchaya planned a special issue on Ramachandra Sharma on his seventieth birthday. But the poet passed away before the editorial team of the literary journal could put together the material. Now Sanchaya has put together the articles as a tribute to the departed poet, one of the leading lights of the Navya movement in Kannada.
Starting with a warm introduction by editor D.V. Prahlad on the vibrant personality of Sharma, the special issue weaves together articles by various aspects of the writer's literary output — from his poetry, fiction and plays to his rich contribution as a translator. There are a few poems on Sharma too.
The book concludes with an interview with Sharma and two particularly interesting articles by Sharma himself on his craft. In the deeply introspective article "Nannolage Naanu", he asks if the business of searching for one's self is like looking for the core of an onion. Is it a futile search for nothingness or is there a meaning in the very experience of searching, he asks.
