`Aaha Paadalaam,' show based on film songs, being aired on Podhigai TV, reaches its 100th episode this week.
Many popular playback singers and composers have participated in the programme.
This week's guest of honour will be music director Bharadwaj.
`Roja' still fresh
Directed by AVM productions, the mega soap, `Roja,' Jaya TV, 20.30 on weekdays, has completed over 500 episodes and a gala event was organised on June 12 to celebrate the occasion.
Both the artistes and the technical staff of the `Roja' unit besides the director attended the function.
Test your luck
For the aspiring singers, here is good news. Raj TV has been airing the music show, Rajageetham, on Sundays, 12 Noon. A few young aspirants have been given a chance to sing in films. For those who might have missed the opportunity earlier, here is yet another chance to try their luck. A mega music competition will be held tomorrow at Kamaraj Hall, 6 p.m. and a jury comprising music directors, lyricists and singers will choose the best singers. Yesteryear playback singer, T. M. Soundararajan, will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion.
