Glory locks

Jeevan's debut film, `University,' did not do much for him career wise, but the negative role in `Khaakha Khaakha' catapulted him to fame -- his long locks making a tremendous impression. But to Jeevan enough was enough. He did not want to continue as villain and went ahead and cut his hair short. But there were not many takers for this new look. "I prefer to wait," Jeevan said. And wait he had to for quite a while. At last the actor is playing the lead -- an anti-hero role you hear -- in director Selva's `Thotta,' opposite Priya Mani.
