Course on the Gita
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Chennai is starting its one-year certificate course under the Bakta Prahlad School Programme. Students will be taught Bhagavad Gita slokas, mantra yoga, stories, bhajans and songs. The classes begin on July 8 and will be conducted once a week. The last date for registration is July 8. Saraswathi Vaggeyakara Trust, East Tambaram (Ph: 2239 2291) is celebrating Trinity Music Festival from July 8 - 10. The venue will be Sitadevi Garodia Hindu Vidyalaya. K. Narayan Rao, secretary, Garodia Group of Schools, Tambaram, will inaugurate the festival on July 8 at 6 p.m.
