Docu Awards 2005

Jaya TV had announced a competition of a different kind.

The contestants were asked to send four kinds of docu-films, based on sociology, economics, environment and general topic.

Three films were slotted to be aired during the cine fest held for 30-minutes.

A cash award of Rs. 25,000 as first prize was fixed and the second and third prizes were Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively.

This apart, each film was viewed by celebrities who also shared their opinions about the docu-films.

The programme has been going on air from June 18. Stay on to watch the films on Saturdays, at 17.30.
