Bonanza for music buffs

The festival is organised to pay homage to Neelakanta Sivan.

A sumptuous treat awaits music lovers. The 30th Neelakanta Sivan Sangeetha Aradhana will be held at Sree Satya Vageeswara Swami Japa Dhyana Bhajana Mandapam at Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram, from July 29 to August 3. The annual music festival is held to pay homage to the saint composer Neelakanta Sivan who spent his last days on the banks of the river Karamana.

Thiruvizha Jayasankar will begin the musical fete with his nadaswaram concert on July 29. He will be accompanied by S.R. Mahadeva Sarma on the violin, Nachil Arul on the mridangom and Trivandrum Karthikeyan on the ghatom.
