FOR THE YOUTH : Asianet Plus hopes to attract youngsters.

With the launch of Asianet Plus, Asianet plans to target young Malayalis. Asianet Plus is touted as the perfect entertainment channel that will reflect the lifestyle of Malayali youth.

Apart from a number of music-based programmes, there is an interesting potpourri of fashion trends, quiz, game shows, travelogues, talk shows, interactive programmes and celebrity interviews.

Some of the shows that will be aired on the channel are `Family Tele Quiz,' which will make its comeback on this channel. The quiz show, which was anchored by Rekha Menon, was a big hit on Asianet.

The other shows include `Dangerous Boys,' which is made along the lines of `Candid Camera,' then there will be `Style Guru,' a show that will give insights into what is in and what is not in fashion, and `Rhythm,' which will be anchored by playback singer Jyotsna. With innovative content and shows such as `I'm 2 BZ,' the channel promises to fill the void that exists vis-a` -vis programming for the youth.

The shows will be anchored in Malayalam and English.

Not only will the channel showcase different genres of music, but also singers, film stars and other youth icons. What the channel calls its USP will be the `Primetime' movie that will be telecast daily.
