Remembering MS

Hamsadhwani is organising a special concert in memory of M. S. Subbulakshmi at Youth Hostel, Adyar, on July 29 at 6 p.m. Radha Badri will sing M.S's songs from the film `Meera' and her popular Carnatic ragas and kirtanas. Professor of music Prameela Gurumurthi and T. K. Ramachandran (IAS) will pay tribute to M. S. and felicitate K. S. Mahadevan on his 93rd birthday. On July 30, Neyveli Santhanagopalan will be honoured under the guru-sishya parampara series. His disciple Ajay Nambudri will give a concert accompanied by V. V. Ravi and B. Ganaathiraman.

Tirunakshatram

Pradosham programme

Yoga classes

Sannyasi Krishnayogam, disciple of Paramahamsa Satyananda Saraswati, is conducting a one-month yoga course for both men and women from July 31 at Bala Vidya H. S. School, West Mambalam.
