Honour for musicians

Flautists Sikkil Kunjumani and Neela will be awarded the Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer award on August 13 at Srinivasa Sastri Hall, Luz, at 6.30 p.m.

The felicitation comprises cash award of Rs. 10,000, Gold medal, citation, memento and a shawl.

The senior musicians' award will be presented to Suguna Purushotaman, N. C. Soundaravalli and R. Venkatraman (veena). Anuradha Suresh Krishnamurhty, R. K. Sriram Kumar and Kallidaikurichi Sivakumar will be honoured with the youth excellence award.
