This boy is going places. According to Murray McLachlan, Head of Keyboard of the renowned Chetham's School of Music in the United Kingdom, "Julian Clef is a highly gifted, dedicated young pianist who deserves every opportunity for success.
He is full of possibilities as an artist, and has had very little opportunity, until recently, to develop his extraordinary natural gifts.''
Best pianist
During his recent concert tour of Europe, 15-year-old Julian who hails from Thiruvananthapuram, had won the Margaret Brewin Trophy for the best pianist at the Mansfield Music and Drama Festival, England.
Impressed by his performance, the Chetham's School for Music has invited him on a scholarship to attend Chetham's international Summer School and Festival for Pianists to be held from August 20 to 27. Julian Clef seems to be on the right track towards a bright future.
