Pavitrotsavam

The Pavitrotsavam of Sthalasayana Perumal Temple, Mamallapuram, (Thirukadalmallai) Kanchipuram District, (Ph: 04114 - 243245/242229) was celebrated from August 15 - 17.

The rituals that began at 5.30 a.m. on the first day included punyahavachanam, vaasthu homam and pavitra pradhishtai.

Thirumanjanam, agni pradishtai and kumbha thiruvaradhanam on August 16 were followed by thirumanjanam and maha poornahuthi on 17.
