Special series on Ramana Maharishi



"Ramana Oli" to be aired on Doordarshan, Chennai, Aug. 31-Nov. 23, 19.00.

To commemorate the 125th Jayanti year of Sri Ramanar, The Ramana Maharishi Centre for Learning, Bangalore, has produced a series on Sri Ramana Maharishi.

Spread over 13 episodes, the special, `Ramana Oli,' will be aired on Doordarshan, Chennai, from August 31 to November 23 at 19.00.

Some of the interesting events from the Maharishi's life will be featured. This includes his messages.

All the episodes have been shot in and around Thiruvannamalai. Leading artistes have acted.

The entire proceeds from the telecast of this special will be donated to Ramana Sunritya Aalaya's (RASA) Corpus Fund.

In the first episode, to be aired on August 31, Sri Ramana Maharishi showers his affection on an outcaste grass cutter woman living at the base of the

Arunachala hill.
