The nationwide search for the country's `Champion,' who has got the spirit to go on television, use their creativity and get viewers to want to watch them has ended with Raja Sharma being crowned the winner.
After screening thousands of aspirants, only eight among them namely Raja (New Delhi), Sameer (New Delhi), Sourabh (Mumbai), Rumi (Mumbai), Neil (Mumbai), Ayesha (Mumbai), Gaurav (Mumbai) and Faraz (Mumbai) survived the competition to make it to the final stage.
After seven weeks of nerve-wracking build-up, the final verdict was announced in a nail-biting finale, with Raja as the clear winner with the maximum viewer votes.
"It just did not feel like a competition, I had a lot of fun. Pepsi [v] TV Champions gave me an opportunity to be myself and do what I like the most — entertain people. And to top it all I've actually won a grand prize for doing what I like! I couldn't have asked for more.
Now, I'm really looking forward to my first backpack trip to Europe!" he exclaims.
