On a light romantic swing

S. R. ASHOK KUMAR.

The glass swing seems to be a part of fantasy that will play a role in ``Kalabak-k-Kadhalan."

ENCHANTED: Kalaba-k-Kadhala

Prasad Studio is bustling with activity with the generators making a huge noise.

Entering, one finds a beautiful figure gracefully sitting on a swing with the hero standing by her side. And wait! The swing is no ordinary wooden affair. Made of glass, it is enchanting and enhances the romantic mood.

Director Igore is explaining the details of the scene to Renuka Menon and Arya, the lead pair of Vishnu Talkies's ``Kalabak-k-Kadhalan." In the background cameraman Mathi is checking the camera angle.

The director shows the set around and it is obvious that Milan, art director has great interior decoration skills. The bedroom, the hall with the beautiful glass swing placed on the one side and not in the middle, all speak of good aesthetic taste.

Igore says that fantasy on a different plane is playing a big role in the film.

The social subject comes with a message too, all about the institution of marriage. One of the highlights is the picturisation of a wedding on the lines of Tirunelveli Pillai community. Himself making his debut, Igore is happy to introduce a music director, an art director and also a villain named Pawan.

Arya, who is acting as a soft ware engineer, is happy that the film is different.

"The film has love, family sentiment and also a good amount of romance, so I can confidently say that it has all the ingredients of a box office hit."

Renuka Menon is equally optimistic. "I have done films with good artists and now this movie is going to be big hit.

The story is nice, the dialogue, written by Balakumaran, is sharp, and Niru's music will surely be a plus point to the film. I am looking forward to the release," she says.

Igore is also in charge of story, screenplay and direction.
