Puja for universal peace

JANMASHTAMI CONCERT: K. Ramesh rendering a vocal recital.

A special three-day Sri Radha Kalyana mahotsavam was held in Tiruchi recently. The inaugural day function featured bhajans rendered by K. Ramesh. The next day, S. Nadimuthu Pillai rendered the `Ashtapathi' and `Divya Nama Bhajan,' Special pujas and Sahasranama archanai were performed on the occasion. The valediction was marked by nagaswaram recital by Sri Subani and Kalisha. The Unchavritis were also performed at Andal Street, Rock Fort U-l veethi and Town Station as part of the celebrations. The convenor, V. Vemban and S. Gopalakrishnan, who spoke on the occasion, explained the significance of the rituals in promoting universal fraternity.
