In Acharya's honour

Tirumalainambi Charities is organising a function in honour of Tirumalainambi, the great Acharya of Sri Ramanuja and the first devotee of Lord Venkateswara. The event that will take place at Gokhale Institute Hall, (near State Bank of India, Luz) on September 10, at 5 p.m., will include the release of `Divine Wonders — History of Tirumala,' a book written by T. K. Chellappa, a descendant of Tirumalainambi. It will be released by Srirangam Srimad Andavan, which will be followed by a discourse on `Lord Srinivasa & Tirumalainambi' by C. Ranganathan, senior lecturer, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeta, Tirupati.
