Monsoon Marvel

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, Balaganamrutham, 1-C, Indrani Ammal Street, Mylapore (Ph: 24992474; 24996272) and Karnataka College of Percussion, Bangalore, will present Monsoon Music Marvel (dedicated to youth), from October 8-14, at Sastri Hall, Luz. Entry is free.

The inaugural function on October 8, 5.45 p.m., will have L. Sabaretnam, advisor, India Cements, as the chief guest.

T. R. Subramaniam, musicologist, A. H. Rama Rao, president, The National Education Society, Bangalore, and Mattur Krishnamurthy, executive director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore, will be honoured.

Master K. Satyanarayanan (keyboard) will present the inaugural concert at 6.30 p.m. Abhishek Raghuram's vocal concert on 6.30 p.m. The other programmes include C. S. Sajeev's vocal recital on 10 and Gayathri Venkataraghavan's on October 14.
