Festival at Gunaseelam

Brahmotsavam is on at Sri Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Perumal temple, Gunaseelam, since October 3.

The Moolavar will be adorned with Muthangi today and golden armour on other days.

The richly decorated utsavar, seated on various mounts, is taken in a procession in the evening on all the 11 days of the festival. The Garuda vahanam, however, takes place in the morning.

The event is scheduled for 7.30 a.m. today.

Car procession is on October 12, 9.15 a.m.

The festival that includes concerts and literary discourses will conclude on October 14.
