Enter the fighter
ACTION TIME Michelle Yeoh in "silver Hawk"
Continuing with the trend of dubbed action thrillers, this Diwali competing with Priyadarshan and David Dhawan would be Jingle Ma's "Silver Hawk."
The names of Hindi versions are also getting interesting by the day. If recently Jet Lee's "Unleashed" was called "Ghulam Be-lagam", "Silver Hawk" is dubbed as "Mahayodha".
Starring Michelle Yeoh of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Tomorrow Never Dies" fame, the film is about a vigilante beauty Lulu Wong that seems to appear from nowhere. No criminal wants to get in her way, as there is nothing she likes better than a great fight.
Protecting her identity under a metallic silver mask she battles the forces of evil incognito. Her eye catching silver garb is not only her high tech battle armour, but a unique costume that strikes fear into the heart of the underworld.
Wild orphan
Like every hero, here the heroine also has a past. How she transforms from a wild orphan to a skilled fighter, who understands the value of self-restraint, is something to be seen.
The film also has Luke Goss whom we have seen in "Blade II" and Michael Jai White who thrilled us in "The Matrix Reloaded".
