Dance Recitals

Anita Sharma and Provakar Goswami, disciple of Nrityacharya Jatin Goswami presented a Sattriya dance recital earlier this week at the Habitat Centre.

Theatre Activities

Primetime Theatre in support of Cancer Sahyog presented "The Heart of the Matter" this past week at the Habitat Centre. Written by Nicholas Kharkongar and directed by Sita Raina this play had a repeat performance too earlier this week. Besides, Steps for Change, an NGO presented Munshi Premchand's "Rangbhoomi" at the Centre.

Art Exhibitions

A number of art exhibitions concluded this past week and early this week. Which included Art Pilgrim's "The Icon" at Crossroads Complex, DLF, Gurgaon; an exhibition of paintings by Geetika Goyal at the Convention Foyer, India Habitat Centre; a sculptures exhibition by Usha Rani Hooja at the Open Palm Court gallery and another one by Dimpy Menon at the Triveni Kala Sangam; an exhibition of paintings by contemporary Indian artists "Palette Poetry" at Shriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra and a special exhibition of paintings and ceramics by Devika at the Art Gallery, India International Centre. ABN Amro Van Gogh Preferred Banking in association with Ati Art Gallery presented at the India Habitat Centre, "Ati", an exhibition of evocative art in various media, showcasing contemporary Indian art. And an exhibition of exhibitions and photographs "Nature Within" by Satwant Singh Sumail and Ashok Kaushal concluded at the Lalit Kala Akademi this past week.

Foreign Films

While the Italian Embassy Cultural Institute presented an Italian film Io No (Not Me), Alliance Francaise de Delhi presented a French thriller Le salaire de la peur (Wages of Fear) this past week.
