Fest for children

FUN TIME Children will surely have a ball

Chinnara Habba, which translates into children's festival in Kannada, begins on November 17 and goes on till November 21 at the Kanteerava Stadium. The fest is organised by Eventspro Vision Pvt. Ltd. in association with ACE (Acedemy for Corporate Excellence).

The festival is "an attempt to recreate the magic of yore. It is an event that includes an exhibition specifically targeted at children," say the organisers.

The programme includes events that will be held in school, parks and the streets besides the main venue. The organisers have also been holding some pre-events that took off in schools since October 1.

There have been magic and puppet shows, one-act plays, fun with maths by Gururaj, Chief Trainer, TASK, and screening of short films. The films were aimed at creating an awareness about the tiger, which has become an endangered species.

The students had to follow up the film screening with a campaign to show that they cared for this animal.

These messages along with the signatures of the children will be displayed at the stadium. There will be cultural programmes by all the participating schools and a special cultural programme by special children from Sri Ramakrishna Samagra Shikshana Kendra.

The four-day fest will conclude with a Chinnara Habba Bravery Award, which will be given to a brave child nominated by the heads of the participating schools.

For details about the habba call Adarsh Advertising on 26529850, 26620566 or e-mail info@eventsprov.com.
