Music tribute
As a tribute to Sangita Kalanidhi, T. Brinda, her disciples and rasikas will be paying a musical homage on her 93rd birthday. There will also be presentations on her style with the aid of audio/video clips by Chitravina N. Ravikiran and K.S.S. Rajan. The event will take place at Raga Sudha Hall, Luz, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on November 6.
Bharatanatyam classes
Premnath, a diploma holder from Kalakshetra, has started a fresh batch for Bharatanatyam from November 3. The classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday at Villivakkam. Yoga

Dance drama
Mudralaya will be presenting a dance drama by Lakshmi Ramaswamy and her disciples on Tirumalai Andavar Kuravanji on November 5, 6.30 p.m. at Dr. Nalli Gana Vihar. Sudha Seshayyan will give a literary discourse on `Velum Mayilum' (Nov. 6, 9.30 a.m.) and Thanjavur T.R. Kamalamurthy will render Harikatha on `Devasena Parinayam' (Nov. 7, 6.30 p.m.)

Asthika Samajam at Thiruvanmiyur has organised a Harikatha on `Hanuman Prabhavam' by Thanjavur Kamalamurthi on November 10 at 6.30 p.m.
