Ramani's Academy of Flute, 18/10, Second Link Street, CIT Colony, Chennai, (Ph: 2499 3217) celebrates the 78th birthday of flute maestro T. R. Mahalingam, on November 6, at 5.30 p.m., at Narada Gana Sabha Mini Hall, TTK Road, Alwarpet. R. Krishnaswamy, president, Federation of Sabhas, will preside and N. V. Subramaniam, Managing Trustee, Saraswathi Vaggeyakara Trust, will be the chief guest. Flautist B. Shankara Rao from Bangalore, will be felicitated on the occasion.
