Communism, Oru Sathyaanwesham

An in-depth, impartial investigation into the triumphs and failures of Communism.

It will try to examine the reasons that led to the rise and collapse of Communist governments in many countries in Europe.

It examines the way governments and leaders interpreted the Communist ideology and their experiences with experiments and new models of development. This will also include rare video clippings of speeches made by leaders like Lenin, Stalin, Fidel Castro and so on.

Footage that shows moments when history was made will be an added attraction. This will be retelecast twice a week on Tuesday and Wednesday at 5 p.m.
