Multiplex at home
Star India has come out with an innovative concept of airing movies on channels, something akin to a multiplex effect. It will show a film on Star Gold, the repeat shows of which will be aired on Star Plus and Star One.
The Sunday film that will screened at 1 p.m. on Star Gold, will be repeated on Star Plus the same day at 4 p.m. and then on Star One at 8 p.m.
The channel says, audiences will have three opportunities to see a film during the day just like the multiple opportunities that multiplexes give to catch a movie.
Also, starting on December 10 at 1.p.m., Star Gold will showcase some of the well-received Hindi films, their trivia and other events related to the films on Saturdays and Sundays under the banner Super Six.
Actor Rajpal Yadav is the face of this Super Six campaign of Star Gold and the films that would be screened in this slot are `Black,' `Main Hoon Na,' `Swades,' `Lakshya,' `Kya Kool Hai Hum,' `Hera Pheri,' `Ab Tak Chhappan,' `Fida' and `Hulchul.'
The event that will be showcased on it include the IIFA Awards 2005, the Star Screen Awards and so on.
