M. Chandrasekaran, violin exponent, has come out with a CD titled `Panchadasa Ragas.' It is conceived and compiled by mridangist Tiruvidamarudur S. Radhakrishnan.

Anniversary celebrations

At its 54th anniversary celebrations, the Deena Bandhu Ashram at Walajapet in Vellore honoured Unnamalai, a teacher of Gandhi Mission Vidyalaya and K. Ravikanthan, headmaster, Sri Mangalambal Aided Middle School.

The Pollachi Tamil Isai Sangam will be celebrating Dr. Raja Sir Muthiavel Centenary function and the 35th anniversary from Dec.17-21 at Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam, Pollachi. The function starts on December 17 at 4 p.m. and AN. Venkatachalam Chettiar, chairman, Mayflower Enterprises, Coimbatore, will be the chief guest.
