A still from `Manodu.'

The audio cassette of Manodu, a full-length feature film in Telugu, is all set to be released by Chief Minister Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, who will be the chief guest for the occasion.

The film is a story of a teenager who is critical of the societal value system and gropes for a modern lifestyle.

The vicious grip of modern life churns the teenager in a blender of "colourful dreams" and he gets to understand the core realities of life. The colourful dreams fade into the reality of a black and white canvas.

The audiocassette has a spool length of 52 minutes and is being released through the music company, Madura Entertainment. Madura is offering this double-length cassette for Rs. 15. The audio will have some dialogues interspersed between the songs. The tape has five songs, four bit songs and seven poems. The Chief Minister will hand over the first cassettes to two underprivileged youth.

Prashant provides the music score and Priyadarshini Ram, Rajkumar and Shivaji have penned the songs. The film has over 60 new artistes, with the Censor Board awarding it a `U' certificate.
