Ramu and Nag together once more
Ramgopal Varma started his career as director in 1989 with Shiva with Nagarjuna (who also produced the film) as hero.
It quickly attained cult status especially among youngsters. Illayaraja scored music for the film and it became a chartbuster. Now, Ramgopal Varma is planning to make a film with Nagarjuna titled Shiva 2006. This time, Nagarjuna will play the role of a cop. The film is most likely to be launched and released in 2006. Again Illayaraja gave green signal to provide tunes to this film too.
Stylish and special
With the canning of a song, the shooting of Style, directed by Lawrence produced by Lagadapati Sridhar on the banner of Larsco Entertainments, is complete. The film has a total of seven songs and the audio of the film will be launched through Madhura Entertainments as Christmas gift. The film has Prabhudeva, Lawrence, Raja, Charmme and Kamalini Mukherjee in the lead. The speciality of the film is that the entire film was shot with Super 35 camera by Kabir Lal. Another highlight is that the film would go through digital intermediate for better styling. The film is all set to hit the screen in January next year.
Venky wishes Navdeep luck
Venkatesh, who generally does not attend film functions, attended the CD release function of Gowtham SSC as the chief guest. He released the audio of the film at the residence of its producer C.C. Reddy recently. Venkatesh looked fresh after finishing his shooting for Lakshmi in Kolkata. He is keen on attending functions and meeting friends to make up the lost time. Gowtham SSC with Navdeep and Sindhu Tolani in the lead is all set to hit the screen by December-end. Venky wished Navdeep success. P.A. Arun Prasad of Thammudu and Shatruvu fame is directing the film while Anup is scoring music.
January release for Nitin's film?
Nitin's latest film produced by his father N. Sudhakar Reddy and directed by N. Shankar, is most likely to be titled Ram.
However, the film crew did not announce the name but registered the title in the Chambers. Though it was planned to be released by Sankranthi, it was put off due to technical reasons and is most likely to hit the screen by January 26. The film has Genelia D'souza and Hrishitaa Bhatt in the female lead. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music. Meanwhile, Meera Chopra is going to utilise the opportunity to do her second Telugu film playing opposite Nitin after her debut Bangaram. Directed by Siddique Lal and produced by Srinivasa Raju, she took part in the film's shooting with Nitin recently. The current schedule will end by December 26. Manisharma is scoring the music for the film and the picturisation is in progress in and around Hyderabad.
