Ram revisited

Shri Sachidanand Sakshi Satsang Mandal organised its 59th anniversary at Shah auditorium, Civil Lines, Delhi this week. The programme started with a dance drama, `Shri Rama: A Paragon of Divine Principles', depicting the life and teachings of Lord Rama. More than 40 people from various walks of life participated in the dance drama. The drama enthralled the audience with the depiction of how Lord Ram began his early life, married Sita, how he defeated Ravan and finally succeeded to the throne of Ayodhya.

Around 1000 people attended the function. The annual festival takes place every year in December end.

The institution was started six decades ago by Shri Sachidanand Sakshi Gurumaji. Gurumaji is imparts different Vedantic principles and teachings.

The knowledge imparted through these principles gives mental toughness to deal with every circumstance in life, thereby cultivating minds so as to prevent them from slipping into the past or speculating on the future.

The Satsang Mandal is currently under the guidance of Guru Anshi Didimaji and is administered by the meticulous, compassionate Shri Rachna Didi.

Three generations of the guru family have anchored the institution that caters to all sections of the society, be it the weak, the depressed or the contented. The mandal has been functioning for the last 59 years without substantial financial backing or a motive of gain.
