MAN VS. BEAST 1: STAR World, Friday, 22.00.

Man Vs. Beast 1, the new one-hour special pits humans against animals in a series of astonishing competitions. This includes a race between a champion sprinter and a giraffe; eating contest between a man and a bear; obstacle course competition between a chimp and a specially-trained military persona and an elephant competing with a group of humans in pulling a jet plane. Expert reporters cover each event, providing comical and enlightening commentary for viewers. STAR World will air the programme on Fridays at 10 p.m.
