Dance Programmes
The India International Rural Cultural Centre presented Kathak dance programmes by Pallabi De, Mamta Maharaj and Mahua Shankar at various schools in Delhi.
Music Programmes
Souvick Banerjee, disciple of Pt. Baldev Raj Verma presented a Hindustani vocal recital, Manoj Mishra presented a solo tabla recital. Vocalists Asit and Hema Desai of Mumbai presented Sugam Sangeet (in Gujrati and Hindi). And the renowned Kodaly Quartet from Hungary comprising Janos Horvath (violin), Erika Toth (violin), Janos Fejervari (viola) and Akos Takacs (cello) presented works by Mozart, Bartok and Weiner at the Habitat Centre. Alliance Francaise de Delhi and the Embassy of France presented a music concert by Duo Bertrand en compagnie this past week at the Garden of Five Senses.
Art Exhibitions
The art exhibitions that concluded recently included Aniha Art Gallery's "Art Interrupted" at the Open Palm Court Gallery; Sunil Das's exhibition "Art Moves" at Lalit Kala and Preeti Varma's exhibition of paintings at The Visual Arts Gallery.
Foreign Films
While Alliance Francaise de Delhi screened the French film Les filles uniques, the Italian Embassy Cultural Institute screened an Italian film titled 13 a tavola.
